Authors Guidelines

Thank you for considering the Journal of Theoretical and Applied Information Technology (JATIT) for publishing your research. To ensure smooth processing and publication of your manuscript, please adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Submission Fee: Evaluation and publication of submitted articles is free of cost. 
2. Plagiarism Policy: Ensure that the similarity index of your submitted manuscript is below 15% as per JATIT policy. Papers exceeding this limit will be declared plagiarized and rejected.
3. Copyright Transfer Agreement: Authors must submit a copyright transfer agreement transferring the copyright of the article to the Journal before publication.
4. Open Access License: Published articles are available under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives (CC BY-NC-ND) license. This allows use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium with proper citation, without changes, and not for commercial purposes.
Manuscript Content Checklist:
Ensure your paper includes the following:
- Rich content and data
- Clear research methodology
- Introduction to the research area
- Review of relevant literature
- Presentation of a clear research problem
- Valid solution to the problem
- Detailed validation method and criteria
- Discussion and evaluation of results
- Clear limitations and assumptions
- Conclusion and future research directions
Peer Review Criteria:
Review the criteria outlined on the journal's homepage for a comprehensive understanding of what reviewers expect during double-blind reviews.
Allowed Paper Length:
- Minimum: 8 pages or more in journal format
- Maximum: 45 pages in journal format
Manuscript Formatting Guidelines:
1. Text and Type Area (Margins):
- Standard Letter size (8.5'' x 11'') with specific margins
- Manuscript should be in two-column format after abstract and keywords
2. Titles Format:
- Paper title, author names, and affiliations in specific formats
- Leave appropriate line spaces between sections
3. Text:
- Times Roman, 10-point font, single-spaced
- First line of paragraphs indented, one-line gap between paragraphs
4. Heads/Subheads:
- Use of numbers for distinguishable subheads
- One-line space before each subhead
5. Figures and Tables:
- Legends/captions provided for figures
- Tables titled and captioned properly, cited in text
- Both figures and tables cited in the text
6. References:
- Vancouver style referencing accepted
- Consistent numbering and citation throughout the manuscript
